In the second edition of Future Focus, the WVU Modernization Program team discusses the Job Family Architecture project and how it will affect many WVU staff positions.
To simplify and standardize how staff positions are categorized, the multi-year Job Family Architecture project will follow a prototype to group similar staff positions at the University into “ job families.” As part of this work, the project team also will work with many stakeholders to create a structure for naming staff titles.
By creating titling and grouping standards, this project will provide a greater level of consistency and transparency, support WVU’s efforts to attract talent and enable more visible career paths for staff.
